STARKVILLE, Miss. – Mississippi State senior Jordan Danberry is one of 90 student-athletes up for the NCAA's Elite 90 contest that began on Monday.
Danberry is eligible for the honor after being presented the women's basketball Elite 90 Award for having the highest grade-point average among players at the Final Four.
The Elite 90 winners from all 90 NCAA championships are up for the honor, and the winner will be the student-athlete who receives the highest number of fan votes.
Fans can vote once per day through 7 p.m. CT on Thursday at the following link: http://on.ncaa.com/Elite90.
Danberry saw action in 31 games during last season's historic run, tallying 86 points and grabbing 40 rebounds. She also tallied 22 steals and 34 assists.
In the NCAA Tournament, the Conway, Ark., native tallied 23 points and dished eight assists to go with four steals.
She averaged 6.0 ppg in the Final Four, including 10 points and three steals against Louisville.
