Friday’s Men’s Tennis Match Against Arkansas Postponed To Saturday

STARKVILLE, Miss. – Due to persistent rains on Friday that lasted throughout the day, the No. 7 Mississippi State men's tennis team's home regular season finale will be played a little later than originally scheduled.
The Bulldogs (14-1, 8-0 SEC) were set to face No. 44 Arkansas (12-11, 3-6) at 1 p.m. Friday, but inclement weather and wet court conditions forced the match to be postponed until 10 a.m. Saturday at the A.J. Pitts Tennis Centre. Admission to the match is free.
MSU's women's match – between No. 32 State and No. 7 Georgia – scheduled for 1 p.m. Saturday, may have a slightly delayed start due to the men's match being rescheduled for Saturday morning.

To complete their regular season, the Bulldogs go on a three-match road swing. The first stop is in Oxford, Miss., to renew its annual rivalry match against 35th-ranked Ole Miss (12-9, 2-7 SEC) this Sunday, April 8. Match time is set for 1 p.m.
The Bulldogs will then travel to No. 5 Texas A&M (April 13, 6 p.m.) and LSU (April 15, Noon) for their final two regular season contests.
