National Finalist Bulldogs' Summer Camp Slate Set

STARKVILLE, Miss. – Young basketball players can learn the skills that helped second-ranked Mississippi State win a school-record 37 games, claim the program's first SEC championship and advance to the national championship game for the second-straight year during Hail State Hoops' 2018 summer camps.
The summer camp slate kicks off June 3-5 with the Skills Camp and concludes with the Team Shoot Out Camp June 15 and 16.

Campers will have the opportunity to learn and develop their skills from SEC and Naismith Coach of the Year Vic Schaefer, the MSU coaching staff and players and other coaches from around the state.
Mississippi State's Skills Camp (June 3-5) is open to grades 5-12 and costs $200 for commuters and $275 for residents. During the three-day camp, players receive personalized instruction from Schaefer and his staff. The camp is a great way to develop an all-around game, with sessions focusing on position work, shooting, fast breaks, team practice and games.
The Day Camp will be held June 11-14 and is open to players in grades 2-7. Running from 8 a.m.-noon each day, the camp is designed to teach fundamental skills to aspiring players through drills and other fun competitions. Cost for the Day Camp is $100.
State's final camp session is the popular Team Shoot Out Camp. Teams can attend June 15 or 16, and cost is $300 per team (12 players and two coaches) per day and $25 for each additional player or coach. The Shoot Out Camp is a great way for teams to begin preparing for a championship season by having the opportunity to play three games in one day against quality competition.
Players can learn from Mississippi State players and coaches that won a school-record 37 games and finished as the National Runner-up for the second year in a row after winning the program's first SEC championship. The Bulldogs recorded the first undefeated regular season by an SEC team in 20 years and won 32-straight games, the second-longest win streak in conference annals.
MSU won 20-plus games for the fifth-straight year and claimed the school's single-season wins record for the fourth year in a row.
