#FromStateToSundays: Future Pro Bulldogs To Showcase Skills at Pro Day

STARKVILLE, Miss. – Mississippi State's current NFL roster is stronger than ever. Aspiring future professional Bulldogs will get their shot to join that prestigious list as MSU hosts its annual Pro Day with NFL scouts on hand Wednesday at the Leo Seal Jr. Football Complex and Palmeiro Center.
A total of 16 players will participate in Pro Day, including 11 seniors from the 2017 squad that finished tied for the most career victories in school history (34) and won the TaxSlayer Bowl.
Players will have an opportunity to go through six measurable drills – 40-yard dash, bench press, vertical jump, broad jump, three-cone drill and shuttle run – and then conclude the day with position workouts on site.
Two Bulldogs – offensive lineman Martinas Rankin and tight end Jordan Thomas -- participated in the NFL Combine earlier this month, and they will be on hand Wednesday. Both have received interest from several NFL teams.
