MSU Women's Tennis To Host Samford and UAB In Sunday Twinbill

STARKVILLE, Miss. – Continuing the 2018 dual match season, the Mississippi State women's tennis team (2-2) will welcome Samford and UAB Sunday for a doubleheader at the A.J. Pitts Tennis Centre, with matches slated for 12 and 3 p.m. CT.
"Our girls love to be challenged so we are very excited about this weekend," head coach Daryl Greenan said. "We have competed well in the few matches we have played so far this spring. We are all looking forward to the doubleheader Sunday against two good teams."
Last Time Out for MSU…
In their last match, the Bulldogs fell in a tough 4-3 decision to UNLV in the consolation round of the ITA Kick-Off Weekend in Berkeley, Calif. State's Magda Adaloglou and Janina Braun claimed their match in doubles.
In singles, Anastasia Rentouli, Sara Lizariturry and Khrystyna Vozniak were able to win their matches for MSU's three points. Lizariturry and Vozniak remained undefeated in dual match action.
About Samford and UAB…
Samford enters the weekend 3-0 after defeating UAH on Friday.
UAB was 2-2 after heading into a home contest with Tulane Saturday afternoon.
