Coaches Clinic Slated for Jan. 25

Lemonis and staff will hold coaches clinic on January 25 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
STARKVILLE - Under the direction of first-year head coach Chris Lemonis, the Mississippi State baseball program will host its annual Coaching Clinic on Friday, January 25, 2019. This information-packed event is free to attend, but participants must RSVP prior to the event.

The clinic will begin at 10 a.m. and conclude at 1:00 p.m. with a Diamond Dawgs practice to follow. More information about the event will be sent close to the date of the clinic.
The staff for the clinic will include Lemonis, along with assistant coaches Kyle Cheesebrough, Scott Foxhall and Jake Gautreau, with the quartet owning a combined 25 NCAA postseason appearances and six College World Series berths as coaches. Lemonis and Gautreau also appeared in the College World Series as student-athletes at The Citadel adn Tulane, respectively. Â

Interested coaches must e-mail April Edwards (aedwards@athletics.msstate.edu), in advance of the clinic to register. Please include the school you represent, along with the names and e-mail addresses of all coaches planning to attend.
The Bulldogs open the 2019 season with a three-game series at Dudy Noble Field against Youngstown State on Feb. 15-17. The season opener is slated for 4 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 15 against the Penguins and general admission season tickets are on sale now by contacting the ticket office at 1-888-Go-DAWGS or clicking here.
