STARKVILLE - Week Eight of the NFL season has come to a close, and it is time to take a look at how the 18 former Bulldogs who have gone #FromStateToSundays fared.
Rookie tight end Jordan Thomas turned in an impressive performance for the Houston Texans during Thursday Night Football. Thomas hauled in a 13-yard touchdown catch with 14:14 left in the second quarter to put the Texans up 14-7 and later scored again with a 2-yard catch on 4th-and-goal with 11:34 left in the third quarter to help the Texans to a 42-23 win over the Miami Dolphins.

With his two scoring grabs, Thomas tied a franchise record for the most touchdown receptions in a game by a rookie. He is the first Texans tight end to catch a touchdown this season.
Fellow rookie and offensive lineman Martinas Rankin also saw action versus the Dolphins, while linebacker Benardrick McKinney recorded seven tackles and broke up two passes in the victory.
Making his 2018 season debut after suffering a knee injury over the summer, linebacker K.J. Wright recorded five tackles, one shy of the team lead, and broke up a pass in Seattle's 28-14 victory at Detroit.
For the second consecutive week, defensive tackle Kyle Love forced a fumble and added two tackles in the Carolina Panthers' 36-21 victory over the Baltimore Ravens.
Defensive tackle Chris Jones recorded a sack for the fourth straight week for the Kansas City Chiefs , closing the 30-23 win over the Denver Broncos with the lone tackle. Linebacker Preston Smith tallied three tackles and broke up two passes in the Washington Redskins;' 20-13 over the New York Giants.
