STARKVILLE - Week Six of the NFL season has come to a close, and it is time to take a look at how the 19 former Bulldogs who have gone #FromStateToSundays fared.
Quarterback Dak Prescott turned in an impressive performance both through the air and on the ground in an 40-7 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars. Prescott finished with 11 carries for 82 yards and a 17-yard touchdown run in the first quarter. His 82 yards were the second most rushing yards by a quarterback in franchise history and the most since 1971. Prescott also completed 17 passes for 183 yards and two scores.
Rookie punter Logan Cooke launched six punts for the Jaguars during the contest to average 41.3 yards per punt, including a career long of 61 yards.
For the second consecutive week linebacker Benardrick McKinney recorded a sack as he closed out Houston's 20-13 victory over Buffalo with 11 total tackles for his first double-digit tackle performance of the season. McKinney has recorded 44 total tackles this season. Rookie tight end Jordan Thomas and rookie offensive lineman Martinas Rankin both saw action in the victory over the Bills.
Defensive end Fletcher Cox picked up his fourth sack of the season to go along with six tackles in Philadelphia's 34-13 win over the Giants. Defensive tackle Chris Jones turned in another strong performance with three tackles and a sack during Kansas City's thrilling showdown at New England.
