SEC Network To Televise Oklahoma St., Oregon Contests

STARKVILLE, Miss. – Mississippi State women's basketball will appear on television 16 times in 2017-18 as a pair of non-conference home dates have been picked up by the SEC Network.
The Bulldogs' Big 12/SEC Challenge game against Oklahoma State on Dec. 3 will be broadcast by the network at 1 p.m.
MSU's Dec. 13 game against Oregon will be televised live on the SEC Network at 6 p.m. The contest will be a rematch from last season's Rainbow Wahine Showdown, a game the Bulldogs won 75-63.
Oregon fell to UConn in the Elite Eight last season. Mississippi State upset the top-ranked Huskies in the Final Four en route to finishing as the 2017 national finalist behind a school-record 34 victories.
Mississippi State will also tip its Nov. 10 season opener against Virginia at 8 p.m. It will be the second half of a doubleheader, with the Bulldog men opening their campaign against Alabama State at 5:30. There will be a special Final Four banner-raising ceremony between games to commemorate State's historic 2016-17 campaign.
The Bulldogs also announced on Wednesday that their Nov. 29 contest against Louisiana-Lafayette in Jackson will tip at 7 p.m. in the Mississippi Coliseum.
