From State to Sundays - Week Three Update

STARKVILLE, Miss. - Week Three of the NFL season has come to a close, and it is time to take a look at how the 15 former Bulldogs who have gone #FromStateToSundays fared.

In the Monday Night Football spotlight, Dak Prescott accounted for three Dallas touchdowns, two passing, one rushing, in the 28-17 win at Arizona. In the second quarter, Prescott took a read option from the 10-yard line and front flipped over two Arizona defenders across the goal line for Dallas' first score. Prescott completed 13 of 18 passes for 183 yards and posted a 141.7 quarterback rating.

Darius Slay intercepted Atlanta QB Matt Ryan two times on Sunday, tying his career-high for a single season. Slay also collected five tackles and knocked down three more passes.

With his third sack of the season in a 27-10 win against Oakland, Preston Smith has collected one in every game of the 2017 season, and is close to eclipsing his season total from last season (4.5). Smith faced off against two former Bulldog teammates, Denico Autry and Gabe Jackson, representhing the Oakland Raiders.

Houston signed cornerback Johnthan Banks on Wednesday and the sixth year veteran immediately made an impact, recording three tackles against New England.
