- Brent Rooker was named to MLB Pipeline's Prospect Team of the Week on Monday for the second consecutive week. Over his last 10 games, the 2017 first round draft pick batted .343 with three home runs, three doubles and 12 RBIs for the Fort Myers Miracle. - With a solo-home run last night, Mitch Moreland helped lift Boston to a win last night. Read how his toughness has made him an asset to the playoff-bound Red Sox here.
- Brandon Woodruff recorded another solid start on Saturday, allowing just one run at Colorado. After three starts, Woodruff has allowed just three runs over 16.2 innings and has struck out 12 batters.
- Chris Stratton earned his second win in his fourth start of the season on Tuesday after shutting out Milwaukee for six innings.
- Amidst a hot streak, Adam Frazier traveled with the Pittsburgh Pirates to South Williamsport, Pa. for the Little League Classic on Sunday. Frazier's RBI single helped the Pirates beat the Cardinals, as the second-year man has batted .350 with a double, a home run and four RBIs in his last seven.
- In his last 10 appearances for Class A Wisconsin Timber Rattlers, Daniel Brown has put up a 1.71 ERA while striking out 26 over 21.0 innings pitched.
- Through six appearances for Class A Lakeland Flying Tigers, Zac Houston has allowed just one run, striking out 14 over eight innings pitched.
- Dakota Hudson will make his next start on Friday after posting a 4.00 ERA through his first five starts with Triple A Memphis.
