Pichaikool Named to GCAA Ping All-Region Team

SUGAR GROVE, Ill. – The awards continue to come for Mississippi State freshman men's golfer Peng Pichaikool as he was named to the Golf Coaches Association of America's Ping All-Southeast Region Team.
After joining the program in January, the SEC All-Freshman Team selection wrapped the spring with a 71.15 scoring average and four Top-10 finishes, including a tie for seventh at the SEC Championship.
The Thailand native became the first Bulldog golfer to make the NCAA tournament as an individual since 2012, and he tied for 35th at the NCAA Baton Rouge (La.) Regional.
