Stephan James used a stellar 400m time at SEC Indoors to qualify for the NCAA Championships
Triumvirate of Bulldogs Ready for NCAA Championships

STARKVILLE, Miss. – Championship week, the culmination of the indoor track and field season, has finally arrived. Three Bulldogs have made their way to College Station, Texas in pursuit of NCAA glory this weekend.
Logan Boss, Tiffany Flynn and Stephan James all posted marks inside the top 16 nationally in their respective events to qualify for the championships.
Boss, the indoor school record holder in the high jump, leapt 1.86m at the Razorback Invitational back in January. That jump remained one of the best by any athlete all season, and was enough to book her ticket to College Station. Her jump is currently the sixth best in the NCAA.
Flynn recorded the best triple jump leap in school history at the SEC Indoor Championships last weekend after achieving a distance of 13.53m. She finished fourth overall and earned the Bulldogs five team points. She is currently ranked sixth in the nation.
James also qualified in the 400m dash last weekend after posting a time of 46.26 seconds in the preliminary round of SECs. His time was the fourth-best in school history, and currently lands him at 14th in the nation.
"I am excited for this trio to be able to make it to the biggest event of the year," MSU coach Steve Dudley said. "They competed well all season, and earned their spot at the NCAA Championships."
