From State to Sundays - Week 15 Update
December 18, 2017 | Football
STARKVILLE, Miss. - Week 15 of the NFL season has come to a close, and it is time to take a look at how the 14 former Bulldogs who have gone #FromStateToSundays fared.
Darius Slay established a no-fly zone in the Detroit secondary on Saturday as his two interceptions and three pass breakups led the Lions defense that allowed just 10 points to Chicago. Slay now leads the NFL with seven interceptions this season, and Saturday was the second time this season that Slay picked off two passes in a single game (Sept. 9 vs. ATL).
In Washington on Sunday, Preston Smith collected three tackles, an interception, a pass breakup and the second interception of his career as his team allowed just 15 points to Arizona.
Dak Prescott did his part to keep Dallas' playoff hopes alive on Week 15's edition of Sunday Night Football. The second year Cowboys quarterback earned his sixth rushing touchdown of the season in the third quarter, and completed 18 of 27 passes on the day to help Dallas defeat Oakland 20-17.
Last season, three former Bulldogs -- Fletcher Cox, Dak Prescott and K.J. Wright -- capped off great seasons by playing in the Pro Bowl. You can help send your favorite NFL Bulldogs to this year's Pro Bowl by voting here.
