MSU Looks To Rebound Against Skyhawks

STARKVILLE, Miss. – Coming off its first loss of the season after winning the first eight games, Mississippi State looks to get back into the win column on Saturday against UT Martin.
Tip at Humphrey Coliseum is set for 7 p.m. CT, with the game televised on the SEC Network+. Bart Gregory and Charlie Winfield will handle the broadcast, while Neil Price and Richard Williams will have the call on the MSU radio network.
Santa Clause will also be available for pictures before the game and he'll be reading to kids at halftime.
LAST TIME OUT
Mississippi State dropped a 65-50 decision at No. 25 Cincinnati. Aric Holman paced MSU with his 18 points and 10 rebounds for his fourth-career double-double.
The Skyhawks defeated UC Clermont, 127-92, behind Fatodd Lewis' 34 points.

- Mississippi State is looking for its first 9-1 start since opening the 2011-12 campaign 12-1.
- MSU is 37-4 all-time versus the 12 teams currently comprise the Ohio Valley Conference. MSU has played 10 of the teams, with Murray State and UT Martin being the most common foe at nine matchups each. The Skyhawks are the second OVC team MSU has played this year as it beat Jacksonville State 59-56 back in November.
