Christmas Promotions Set For MSU Men’s and Women’s Basketball

STARKVILLE, Miss. – It is an exciting time in Humphrey Coliseum as the Mississippi State men's and women's basketball teams are a combined 17-0 on the season.
With MSU being one of three programs in the country to have undefeated men's and women's teams, fans can catch some exciting action on the court while enjoying some fantastic promotions over the Christmas break.
The Christmas promotions begin Wednesday (Dec. 13) for women's basketball's Top 10 showdown against Oregon. That contest, which tips at 6 p.m. on the SEC Network, will be the annual Christmas at the Hump. Christmas Tree Cakes will be given away the first 500 fans, and Santa will also be in the Hump to take pictures prior to tip and to read "The Night Before Christmas" to children on the court at halftime.
Santa returns to the Hump for pictures and to read "The Night Before Christmas" for the men's games against UT Martin on Dec. 16 and Little Rock on Dec. 20, as well as the women's contest against Maine on Dec. 17.
State will also hold its second Teddy Bear Toss at halftime of the Maine contest. Fans who bring a stuffed Teddy Bear will get a free ticket to the game and the opportunity to throw the Teddy Bear onto the court at halftime to donate to a child in need.
State hosts Dollar Night for women's basketball on Dec. 28 game and Dec. 30 for men's hoops. The $1 offer is only valid on tickets purchased in advance from the MSU Ticket Office. Fans can also buy $1 hot dogs at each game while supplies last. Regular-priced jumbo hot dogs will also be available to purchase.
Tickets for men's and women's basketball games can be purchased online at www.hailstate.com/tickets or by calling 1-888-GO-DAWGS. Fans who have their tickets scanned can earn rewards, and those Bulldogs unable to use their tickets for any games can transfer their tickets to friends and family for no additional fee.
Bully's Kids Club members get free admission to all women's basketball games and the December men's basketball contests with a valid membership ID card. Parents can sign their child up at BullysKidsClub.com.
