From State to Sundays - Week Nine Update

STARKVILLE, Miss. - Week Nine of the NFL season has come to a close, and it is time to take a look at how the 14 former Bulldogs who have gone #FromStateToSundays fared.

On Sunday afternoon, Dak Prescott led the Cowboys to another win with both his arm and his feet as the Cowboys defeated Kansas City 28-17. Prescott completed 21 of his 33 pass attempts for 249 yards and two touchdowns, and also rushed for his third touchdown to become just the second QB in NFL history with at least 35 passing touchdowns and 10 rushing touchdowns in his first two seasons.

Chris Jones lined up on the other side of the ball for Kansas City and knocked down two passes. Kansas City quarterback Alex Smith, like Prescott, was developed in college by Mississippi State football head coach Dan Mullen when they were both at the University of Utah.
