State's Rhylee DeCrane earned SEC Community Service team honors for the second-straight year
MSU’s DeCrane Named To SEC Community Service Team

STARKVILLE, Miss. – After countless hours of service to the Starkville community and Mississippi State University over the past year, senior goalkeeper Rhylee DeCrane has been named to the Southeastern Conference Soccer Community Service Team for the second consecutive year, the league office announced Thursday.
DeCrane has been an integral part of the MSU community since becoming a Bulldog in 2014. The Myrtle Beach, S.C., native is an active member in the MSU M-Club, serving on the executive board as the Sergeant At Arms for the second straight year. DeCrane also serves as a SAAC representative for the soccer team—her second consecutive year in that role.
Last January, she volunteered her time at the Martin Luther King, Jr., Unity Breakfast and Day of Service, in addition to participating in the "STATEDM17" dance marathon in February. This fall, the senior goalie also contributed her time and efforts to MSU's brand-new, on-campus community garden that serves the greater Starkville community as well as the MSU campus. She has also been involved with numerous fun runs for charity, including the Sprint With Super Gabe 5K in April and the annual Dawg Walk For Breast Cancer Awareness this October.
Displaying a profound love for animals and a desire to one day work as a veterinarian, DeCrane has donated an abundance of her time throughout her tenure at MSU with the Clay County Animal Shelter in nearby West Point, assisting staff with the care of animals at the facility.
DeCrane's 2017 recognition marks the 13th season the SEC has sponsored the award and she is the third Bulldog to have received the award twice in a career.

The Bulldogs will wait to see if their season will continue on Monday, Nov. 6, when the selections for the NCAA Tournament will be announced. The 64-team tournament begins on Friday, Nov. 10.
