January 31, 2017 | Baseball
STARKVILLE, Miss. – Following a stellar 2016 season in which Mississippi State won its 11th Southeastern Conference baseball championship, the team announced Tuesday the dates for its 2017 summer team camps for high school and travel squads.
The first 16-team camp will be held June 5-8, with the second taking place June 12-15. Registration for each camp costs $275 per player and includes five games, three meals per day, on-campus housing, umpires, game balls, a t-shirt and instruction from one of the top coaching staffs in college baseball.
Campers will have the opportunity to play at historic Dudy Noble Field as well as surrounding high school fields. They will also have access to the nationally-praised Palmeiro Center.
Each day will feature skills competition and evaluation, two games (one on last day), individual defensive workouts and hitting segments with the MSU coaching staff and presentations from head coach Andy Cannizaro.
To register for the camps, complete this form and submit it via mail along with the $550 deposit to hold your team's spot. For more information on registration, read over the attached camp flyer.
For questions on the camp, please contact MSU coordinator of camps Mike Brown at (530) 400-5303 or email him at MBrown@athletics.msstate.edu.
