Summer Pro Circuit Round Up
August 24, 2016 | Men's Tennis
STARKVILLE, Miss. – Another summer is in the books for Mississippi State men's tennis on the pro circuit, as Rishab Agarwal, Nuno Borges and Strahinja Rakic all turned in successful performances on the court.
Agarwal finished with the top result of the trio, as he downed the second-seeded player in singles competition before falling to top-seeded Seong Chan Hong at the Vietnam F1 Futures. Borges and Rakic each played futures in their respective home countries, as Borges fought his way to a singles quarterfinal finish, while Rakic advanced all the way to the semifinals.
Players earn ranking points on the professional circuit by winning main draw matches in these events, as an accumulation of points leads to an ATP world ranking.
