Summer play continues for three Bulldogs
Summer Pro Circuit Round Up

STARKVILLE, Miss. – Three Mississippi State men's tennis Bulldogs competed in events since our last summer pro circuit update, with two taking home championships in doubles play and one downing a No. 1 seed in singles action.
Nuno Borges and Trevor Foshey began their summer play, as Strahinja Rakic continued his circuit run. Borges turned in a great performance in his home country's F9 Futures, knocking off the top-seeded player in the round of 16 after downing Great Britain's Richard Gaab. Foshey ran the tables at the ITA Summer Circuit stop in Tallahassee, Fla., winning the doubles draw, while finishing runner up in singles action. Rakic, who has competed in four futures events this summer, took home his first pro title after winning the doubles draw in his home country of Serbia.
Players earn ranking points on the professional circuit by winning main draw matches in these events, as an accumulation of points leads to an ATP world ranking.
