
State Adds Game In Pearl, Alters Time For MVSU Game

STARKVILLE, Miss. - Mississippi State has added a second game with Louisiana-Monroe at Trustmark Park in Pearl, Miss., April 5 to replace the Tennessee game canceled by rain last Sunday.
The Bulldogs and the Indians, originally scheduled to meet in a single 6:30 p.m. at the home of the Mississippi Braves, will now play a day/night doubleheader. MSU will be the home team for a 4 p.m. contest while the Indians will be the host team for a 7 p.m. contest. State topped UL-Monroe 7-2 March 8 at Dudy Noble Field.
MSU has also changed the game time for the Mississippi State-Mississippi Valley State game May 2 at Dudy Noble Field. That game will now have a 3 p.m. first pitch.
