Junior High Session Launches 2005 MSU Baseball Camp Sunday
May 25, 2016 | Baseball
The seven-session camp opens this week (June 26-29) with the Junior High Camp for youth ages 11 to 14.
Three sessions of high school team camps follow as high school teams compete with other enrolled teams and take part in extensive instructional sessions with the MSU coaching staff.
The High School Camp and the High School Pitcher/Catcher Camp (ages 15 through high school seniors) are set July 11-15 and July 15-17. A highlight of the High School Camp is Showcase Day (July 14), affording each camper an opportunity showcase his baseball talent through a simulated professional tryout and evaluation.
The 2005 MSU Baseball Cam concludes with the popular Youth Day Camp (July 18-21), a four-day session for youth ages 6 through 12. This camp emphasizes the development of baseball fundamentals, batting mechanics and competition. It begins daily at 8:30 a.m., includes a mid-day lunch, and closes at 4 p.m.
Openings remain in all sessions but the high school team camps. For registration information or additional camp details, contact Wade Hedges at the MSU Baseball Office (662-3e25-3597) or visit the MSU Athletics Department website at www.MStateAthletics.com.
