MSU's Wednesday Game With Birmingham-Southern Postponed

STARKVILLE, Miss. - The Wednesday night baseball game between Mississippi State and Birmingham-Southern at Smith-Wills Stadium in Jackson, Miss., has been postponed due to weather conditions in the Jackson area.
The game will be rescheduled and played in Jackson later in the season.
The 24th-ranked Bulldogs (18-7, 4-4 SEC) topped Samford 14-5 Tuesday night in Jackson and next return to action at Dudy Noble Field this weekend playing host to No. 16 Auburn (21-11, 5-4 SEC) in a three-game Super Bulldog Weekend series. The series begins with a 6:30 p.m. game Friday while Saturday's contest is set for a 3:06 p.m. first pitch and will be televised live on FOX Sports Net South as the SEC-TV Game of the Week.
Details of the makeup date for Wednesday's postponed MSU-BSC game will be announced at a later date.
