MSU-Memphis Baseball Game Suspended, To Be Continued Wednesday

STARKVILLE, Miss. - Mississippi State's series-opening baseball game with the University of Memphis (5-6) was halted by rain Tuesday afternoon and will be resumed Wednesday at 2 p.m.
MSU (9-2) had plated three runs in the bottom of the fifth inning, the last two on Brad Corley's second double of the afternoon. Play will be resumed with Corley at second base and two outs in the inning.
The two teams will play the final game of the two-game set at Dudy Noble Field immediately following the conclusion of the first game.
