Corley Named To USA Today/Sports Weekly All-America Team

Corley, a first-team All-Southeastern Conference team selection, is included on USA TODAY/Sports Weekly?s 14-player second-team All-America squad and is one of five SEC players tabbed by the national publication for all-America honors.
Corley concluded regular season play with a team-leading .378 batting average, fourth-highest in the SEC. A two-time selection for SEC Player of the Week honors, Corley led the SEC in total bases (158) and paced the Bulldogs with 88 hits, 32 for extra bases and a team-leading 18 home runs. Corley was one of three finalists for the inaugural Boo Ferriss Award, presented to the top collegiate baseball player in Mississippi.
The Bulldog right fielder hit 16 of his 18 roundtrippers and nine doubles with 32 RBI in the final 31 games of the 2004 season, compiling a sizzling .427 batting average with over that span.
