STARKVILLE, Miss. -- Heavy rainfall in the Starkville area Saturday afternoon has forced a second delay in the start of the Mississippi State-Arkansas baseball series at Dudy Noble Field.
The series is now set to get started with a single game at 6:30 p.m. Saturday followed by a 1 p.m. Sunday doubleheader. Both Sunday games are scheduled to last seven innings.
MSU's senior salute to veteran players Steve Gendron, Jeff Lacher and Tyler Scarbrough and manager Stan Mills will be held immediately before Sunday's twinbill.
