MSU-UM Mayor's Trophy Game Nearing Sellout

STARKVILLE, Miss. -- Approximately 1,000 general admission tickets remain for next week's 24th renewal of the Mississippi State-Mississippi Mayor's Trophy Game at Smith-Wills Stadium in Jackson.
The $9 tickets can be purchased by calling the ticket office at Smith-Wills Stadium in Jackson (601-363-2294).
First pitch for the Apr. 2 game is set for 6:30 p.m.
Mississippi has claimed three of the last four meetings in the neutral site rivalry, though Mississippi State owns a 13-10 overall edge dating back to the inaugural game in 1980.
