May 25, 2016 | Men's Golf
STARKVILLE, Miss. -- Greg Martin's Mississippi State men's golf squad will wrap-up the 2002 campaign by competing in the Georgia State-hosted Atlanta Intercollegiate on May 9-10. The competition will take place at the Eagle's Landing Country Club, the same course that hosted last week's LPGA Chick-fil-A Charity Championship, which is located in Stockbridge, Ga., a suburb of Atlanta.
The Dogs, who are coming off a twelfth-place showing two weeks ago at the Southeastern Conference Championships, will join 12 other schools from around the southeast in the event. Florida, Georgia, Georgia State, Tennessee, Auburn, Augusta State, Duke, East Tennessee State, Florida State, Kentucky, North Florida and UAB round out the field.
State is participating in the event for the second-straight season. Last year the Bulldogs finished in seventh place out of nine teams.
