Three Invited To USATF Champs; Crabbe At Florida Fast Times

In addition, Bulldog senior Dion Crabbe will compete in Gainesville, Fla., at the Fast Times Qualifier. Crabbe has provisionally qualified for the NCAA Championships in the 60- and 200-meter dashes.
Sophomore Marquis Davis and freshman Glenn McFadden will compete in the sprints at the USATF Championships in the Armory Track & Field Center in New York City. Davis is an automatic qualifier for the 200 meters and a provisional qualifier in the 60m. McFadden, a New Haven, Conn., native, earned high school all-America honors last year.
The lone Lady Bulldog invited to New York is senior long jumper Elisha Williams. The Milton, Fla., native has provisionally qualified for the NCAA Indoors and looks to improve her best mark of 20-3 3/4 this weekend. She placed second last year in the event with a jump of 20-9.
The Fast Times Qualifiers will take place on Thursday in the Stephen O'Connell Center at the University of Florida. The USA Track & Field Championships start Friday and conclude Saturday in New York City.
