Bulldogs To Host NCAA Selection Show Watch Party Monday

STARKVILLE, Miss. – Mississippi State learns its NCAA Tournament destination Monday, and fans can join the Bulldogs at a selection show watch party in Humphrey Coliseum.
Doors open at 5 p.m. Fans can arrive early and watch Relentless and other highlight videos from the season before hearing from Director of Athletics Scott Stricklin and meeting the Bulldogs.
The selection show begins at 6 p.m. and will be shown on the video board.
During commercial breaks, fans can have the chance to answer trivia questions and win prizes, and there will be question and answer segments with head coach Vic Schaefer and Bulldog players.
Mississippi State will earn its eighth NCAA Tournament bid overall. It will be the second straight in Schaefer's four seasons.
The Bulldogs claimed a five seed last season and defeated Tulane before having a school-record run end in the second round against host Duke.
The 2015-16 edition of the Bulldogs enters Monday's selection show 26-7 overall and 11-5 in SEC play.
The 26 victories rank second in program annals, while the 11 league wins match last season's school record. The Bulldogs tied for second in the SEC standings, the best finish by an MSU squad, and advanced to the program's first SEC Tournament championship game since 2000.
