Soccer Reschedules Friday?s Exhibition Against UAB

STARKVILLE, Miss. – Due to the threat of inclement weather, Mississippi State soccer has rescheduled its Friday scrimmage with the University of Alabama at Birmingham from this Friday to Sunday, April 3.
Along with the rescheduling of Friday's exhibition, the Bulldogs added a game as well with the addition of a friendly against the University of Memphis on the same date.
The two contests will be at the West Campus Field in Birmingham, with MSU's first exhibition slated at 2 p.m. versus Memphis with a 3 p.m. contest against UAB to follow. Both friendlies will be 45-minute games.
Last weekend, the Bulldogs opened spring play with a pair of wins against Southern Miss and Louisiana Monroe at the MSU Soccer Field. MSU received goals from four different players Saturday afternoon in the 1-0, 3-2 victories.
MSU's next action isn't until March 31, when the Bulldogs travel to Tuscaloosa to take on Alabama in a spring exhibition.
