Bulldogs No. 14 in Latest Associated Press Poll

STARKVILLE, Miss. – A Top-20 showdown looms in Humphrey Coliseum Thursday at 6 p.m. as Mississippi State is ranked No. 14 in this week's Associated Press Top 25 Poll.
The Bulldogs return home following a road contest at Texas A&M and an open date to host a Kentucky squad that moved up to No. 16 this week.
Vic Schaefer's squad brings a 21-5 overall record and 8-4 SEC mark into the program's annual “Think Pink” contest that will be broadcast nationally on the SEC Network.
Fans are encouraged to wear pink, and the first 500 in attendance will receive a free “Think Pink” T-Shirt courtesy of OCH.
The game will be MSU's third straight against a ranked foe. After knocking off then No. 21 Missouri, State suffered a tough road setback against the Aggies last Thursday.
MSU, which owns the nation's 11th-most consecutive weeks in the poll at 33, remained in second place in the SEC standings behind South Carolina, who dropped one place in the poll to third.
Texas A&M moved up to No. 12, while Florida fell six places to No. 22. Tennessee rounded out the SEC teams in the poll at No. 24.
