Christmas Promotions Announced For Women’s Hoops’ Final Non-Conference Games

STARKVILLE, Miss. – Fans can enjoy Christmas at the Hump as well as $1 tickets and hot dogs when the No. 5 Mississippi State women's basketball team returns home for its final two non-conference games.
The Bulldogs welcome Santa Claus to Humphrey Coliseum for a 7 p.m. tip on Dec. 20 against Alabama State. Fans can take photos with Santa and the Golden Egg prior to the game, and children will be invited to the court at halftime as jolly old St. Nicholas reads "Twas The Night Before Christmas."
Halftime of that game will also give fans the opportunity to give to children in need with a special Teddy Bear Toss presented by BancorpSouth. Fans are asked to bring stuffed teddy bears to the game and, at halftime, will be invited to throw them onto the court to be collected and donated to local children via the Salvation Army and Le Bonheur Children's Hospital.
Fans can get $1 tickets and $1 hot dogs for both the Dec. 20 and 28 games. Tickets may be purchased online at hailstate.com/tickets or at the door. Youth age 18 and under get free admission to all Bulldog home games, but they must pick up a ticket from the ticket office.
The Dec. 28 non-conference finale against Northwestern State also tips at 7 p.m.
In addition to the special promotions, any child who joins Bully's Kids' Club from now until Christmas will get a free Mississippi State Santa hat.
