STARKVILLE, Miss. - Week eight of the NFL season has come to a close, and it is time to take a look at how the 20 former Bulldogs who have gone #FromStateToSundays fared.
Dak Prescott and Fletcher Cox met in an NFC East battle as the Dallas Cowboys hosted the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday Night Football. Prescott threw a game-tying touchdown pass late in the fourth quarter to force overtime, then led the Cowboys down the field to score and win the game 29-23. Cox had four tackles in the instant classic.
After being sidelined the first six weeks of the season due to offseason knee surgery, Pernell McPhee had two big plays in his second game back with Chicago. The sixth year veteran picked up a sack and forced a fumble in the Bears 20-10 Monday Night Football win against the Vikings.
Johnthan Banks has a new team following the eighth week, as he was traded to the Detroit Lions on Tuesday. He will join another former Bulldog and defensive back, Darius Slay, in the Lions secondary.
