STARKVILLE, Miss. - Week seven of the NFL season has come to a close, and it is time to take a look at how the 20 former Bulldogs who have gone #FromStateToSundays fared.
Former Bulldogs on the defensive side of the ball played especially well during Week 7. Notable performances came from K.J. Wright, who collected 10 tackles and knocked down a pass, and Benardrick McKinney, who earned 9 tackles. Before the Monday night contest against the Denver Broncos, ESPN analyst Jon Gruden named McKinney his pre-game "Gruden Grinder." McKinney now has 69 tackles over 7 games, good for second in the NFL.
49ers cornerback Will Redmond will be looking to make his first NFL appearance soon. The rookie has been listed on the injured reserve all season due to a torn ACL, but practiced for the first time last week.
