Mississippi State Ranked No. 13 by USA TODAY Sports Coaches Poll

STARKVILLE, Miss. – Mississippi State women's basketball landed at No. 13 in Tuesday's USA TODAY Top 25 Coaches Poll, a day after the Bulldogs earned the 13th-place position in the latest Associated Press Top 25.
Tuesday's ranking sets up a second-straight Top-25 matchup for MSU as it faces No. 23 Tennessee Thursday at 8 p.m. in Humphrey Coliseum. That contest will be broadcast nationally on the SEC Network.
Mississippi State enters that game 17-4 overall and 4-3 in SEC play after Sunday's hard-fought setback to No. 2 South Carolina. The Bulldogs also dropped a tough 47-43 road decision at Georgia last Thursday.
State dropped three places in this week's poll while earning a 29th-straight week in the ranking. Tennessee fell one spot in the latest rating.
South Carolina remained at No. 2, while Texas A&M jumped two spots up to No. 10. Kentucky fell three spots to No. 12.
Missouri, who was previously unranked in the poll, entered at No. 24.
Tickets for Thursday's showdown at the Hump cost $5 for adults. Youth 17 and under get in free, as do MSU students with a valid student ID.
