LEXINGTON, Ky., - After breaking numerous records over the weekend, the No. 18 Mississippi State women's track and field team brought home seventh place, the highest finish at the SEC Indoor Championships in school history, scoring a total of 36.70 points.
In her last appearance at the SEC Indoor Championships, senior Erica Bougard broke her second school record of the weekend after clearing 5-11.25 in the high jump. Bougard finished fourth, while teammates Logan Boss (5-05.75) and Abigail Dill (5-05.75) finished eighth and 16th, respectively.

“It has been a long weekend for me,” Bougard said. “I competed in 10 events. I ended up doing an entire decathlon, and I would do it all over again because of the support I had from my teammates and coaches throughout the whole meet.”
