Weather Cancels Baseball's Tuesday Tilt Against MVSU
February 16, 2015 | Baseball
STARKVILLE, Miss. – With Tuesday afternoon's forecast in the lower 30s and a 20 percent chance of snow in the evening, Mississippi State baseball's scheduled 4 p.m. game against Mississippi Valley State has been canceled.
The Bulldogs are looking to reschedule with MVSU or another opponent for a future date this season. Fans with tickets to Tuesday's game can use their ticket for the rescheduled game. If MSU cannot find a replacement game, season ticket holders can use their ticket in exchange for a general admission ticket to any remaining 2015 contest.
Head coach John Cohen's club returns to action this weekend for a pair of games at Dudy Noble Field against Marshall and Alabama A&M. State takes on the Thundering Herd on Friday and Saturday at 6:30 p.m. CT, while also playing A&M at 2 p.m. Saturday and 4:30 p.m. Sunday.
