Agarwal Falls In Quarterfinal of Player?s Choice

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – A day removed from defeating the No. 12 collegiate player in the country, junior Rishab Agarwal fell to David Biosca Gorvent in three sets to cap his run at the Player's Choice 10K Futures.
Despite taking the opening set, Agarwal was overcome by Biosca Gorvent in the following two sets, 6-3, 6-4.
Last time out, Agarwal reached the semifinal of the Houston 15K Futures back in October, before falling to runner-up Lucas Gomez of Mexico.
Sanchez and Braun Win At Bluewater Bay
Playing in Niceville, Fla., the freshmen Lucas Sanchez and Niclas Braun each won their match in qualifying singles on Friday. Sanchez downed Brant Vaughn Switzler, 6-3, 6-2, while Braun earned a three set win over Jarred Wynan, 5-7, 6-3, 7-5.
