
Senior Weekend Promotions

STARKVILLE, Miss. – Mississippi State softball wraps up the home portion of the 2014 season with senior weekend and a three-game series against Arkansas. First pitch Friday is set for 5 p.m. CT while the Saturday and Sunday games will begin at noon.
Prior to Sunday's game, the Bulldogs will honor the team's seven seniors: Logan Foulks, Sam Lenahan, Jessica Offutt, Alison Owen, Heidi Shape, Shana Sherrod and Rachael Zdeb. MSU will also recognize team manager J Bailey.
MSU is 35-15, tied with the 2008 team for the best 50-game record in program history. The Bulldogs had not had more than 33 regular-season wins since 40 in 2008.
ARKANSAS SERIES PROMOTIONS
Every game this weekend will feature the Grand Slam Giveaway. If any MSU player hits a grand slam, a lucky fan will win either a flat-screen television or an iPad.

Friday will be Greek Life Night, with free ping-pong balls featuring the Mississippi State logo given away while supplies last. On Friday morning, mini dog bones will be placed throughout The Junction with numbers and directions attached to them. Fans can take the dog bone in the morning and claim their prize at the softball contest. Prior to and during the game, fans grilling in the outfield area can receive FREE charcoal and lighter fluid, which will be distributed by a MSU Marketing staff member.
Saturday will be Starkville Parks & Rec and Junior Bulldog Club Day. A FREE Kids' Zone will be open at 10 a.m. and feature a bounce house and inflatable slide. There will be appearances by Bully, Champ and the Chick-fil-A cow and a HailState koozie giveaway while supplies last.
Every Sunday is Kids Day with FREE face tattoos and ice cream for fans, and kids in eighth grade and under can run the bases after the game. On Sunday dogs will also be allowed to take the field with their owners post-game.
