MSU Alumni Association To Host Basketball Meet The Players Monday Night

STARKVILLE, Miss. – Fans have the opportunity to meet the Mississippi State men's and women's basketball teams Monday night as the Okitibbeha County Chapter of the MSU Alumni Association hosts a Meet The Players event beginning at 6:30 p.m.
The free event will be held in the Griffis Boardroom inside the Palmeiro Center, with doors opening at 6 p.m. Light refreshments will be served.
In addition to autograph sessions with both teams, fans can also have pictures made with Bully.
Second-year head coach Rick Ray's Bulldogs host Auburn-Montgomery in a 3 p.m. exhibition on Sunday, Nov. 3. His squad opens the regular season Friday, Nov. 8, taking on Prairie View A&M in a 7 p.m. tip at Humphrey Coliseum.
Vic Schaefer opens his second season with Hail State Hoops Monday, Nov. 4, against Shorter in a 7 p.m. exhibition at the Hump. After opening the regular season at Houston on Friday, Nov. 8, MSU begins the regular-season home slate against Jackson State at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 13.
