Day 2 Features Points Earned For Mississippi State

Haley Greenwell was the top finisher for the Lady Bulldogs, as the sophomore ran a 34:16.54 to finish third in the 10,000m run to earn six points for MSU.
Favian Cowards secured the first points of the meet for the Lady Bulldogs, throwing a personal best 176-10 to earn eighth and secure one point for MSU.
Keisha Wallace secured the next points of the day as she finished 7th in the heptathlon. The sophomore's personal best 5,140 points placed her at seventh in the event to earn two points for the Lady Bulldogs and placing Wallace at fourth on the MSU All-Time list. En route to earning her seventh-place finish, Wallace posted personal bests in the long jump (18-5) and the 800m run (2:20.43).
In preliminary action, Talisha Lee posted a time of 59.61 to finish seventh in the 400m hurdles, earning a place in the finals on Sunday. Lee finished just over a second ahead of teammate Brittany Covington, who placed ninth with a personal best time of 1:00.07.
Decathletes Trevarus Christian and Antoine Lipscomb set personal bests in the 110m hurdles and the javelin, while Lipscomb also had personal bests in the pole vault and the 1500m run. Trevarus Christian completed the decathlon with a personal best 6,900 points, en route to earning a sixth place finish and a fifth place spot on the MSU All-Time list. Lipscomb finished ninth after earning a personal best 6,732 points.
Athletes will lace back up starting at noon on Saturday.
