GREENVILLE, S.C. - The Mississippi State men's golf team have notched back-to-back rounds of 302 at the 22nd annual Furman Intercollegiate. MSU's two-round score of 602 leaves the Bulldogs standing in a tie for eighth among the 24-team field at the three-round tournament played at the par-72 Furman University Golf Course.

State's sophomore Brad Thompson led MSU in the second round with a 1-over-par score of 73 and is tied for the Bulldog lead through two-rounds with a 149 and is tied for 24th among the 135-player individual field. Sophomore Lee Heaton of MState is also in a tie for 24th and has notched consistent rounds of 74 and 75.

True freshman of Brad Mason of MSU has posted a two-round score of 150 and is tied for the team-lead in birdies made in the second round with three. Mason also stands in a tie for 29th among the individual field.

State's true freshman Robi Calvesbert has notched back-to-back rounds of 78 and classmate Mike Genovese rounds out the Bulldog lineup after posting a 6-over-par second round, totaling his 36-hole score to 157.
