MSU's Bailey Advances To Semifinal Round At USA Outdoor Championships

EUGENE, Ore. ? Mississippi State sprinter John Bailey advanced to Friday's semi-final round of the men's 400-meter dash at the USA Outdoor Championships after running 46.43 seconds to finish second in his preliminary heat at the University of Oregon's Hayward Field.
Bailey is set to run at 7:20 p.m., after posting the eighth fastest time on Thursday.
Also competing Friday is freshman D'Angelo Cherry. Cherry battles his No. 1 USA Junior ranking in the 100-meter dash at 4:20 p.m. Friday's races will be aired on ESPN beginning at 7 p.m.
