Mississippi State Through Two Rounds At The Bank Of America Intercollegiate

MADISON, Miss. ? The Mississippi State men's golf team is in 11th place after firing rounds of 291 and 294 in day one of the Bank of America Intercollegiate. Mstate stands at 9-over-par after the first two rounds and is 22 strokes behind first place Tennessee-Chattanooga and LSU.
MSU junior leads the Bulldogs at even-par through two rounds, notching rounds of 71 and 73 and is tied for 21st after day one. Fellow classmate Carlos Sainz, Jr. trails Bevell by one stroke and is tied for 23rd that includes a team-high 7 birdies. Junior Matt Fast is 3-over-par with rounds of 73 and 74 followed by Noah Goldman who is 5-over-par. Senior Josh Oller rounds out the Bulldog lineup with his 6-over-par showing in day one. Senior Jake Lambert competed as an individual and is 10-over-per after rounds of 74 and 80.
MSU will tee off the final round at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday.
