STARKVILLE, Miss. - The Mississippi State Athletic Department announced plans Wednesday that it will offer live video webcasts of five men's basketball games, 10 women's basketball games, and 29 baseball games this season on Maroon to the Max, the premium audio/video streaming service for internet users at www.mstateathletics.com.
The men's hoops streaming schedule will commence with State's exhibition contest against Oklahoma City this Saturday, November 8, at Humphrey Coliseum. The women's slate will begin on Tuesday, Nov. 18, in the Lady Bulldogs' regular season opener again Arkansas-Pine Bluff. MSU's Diamond Dogs get under way February 20-22, 2009, with the BankFirst Baseball Challenge against Northern Illinois and North Florida. In addition to the live streams that will be provided, all other MSU home games will be made available on an on-demand basis throughout the 2008-09 campaign.

2008-09 SEC Video Streaming Policies:

In men's basketball, due to Southeastern Conference contractual television agreements, all games that are permitted to be streamed live are limited to viewing in the nine-state SEC region (Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, South Carolina and Tennessee). Exhibition games are excluded from this restriction.
? In men's and women's basketball, due to Southeastern Conference contractual television agreements, all games that are streamed on an on-demand basis cannot begin before 8 a.m. local time on the morning following the game in question.
