Shelledy's Two Goals Help Lead MSU Soccer To 5-1 Win Over Alumni

STARKVILLE, Miss. ?€“ Junior Kevyn Shelledy scored twice to help Mississippi State win its fiftth consecutive game against the alumni,5-1 Saturday morning at the Mississippi State Soccer Field.
Shelledy had a game-high two goals and one assist. The junior opened the scoring 15 minutes into the game, knocking home a Bethany Frazier pass. Treena Ferguson followed with an unassisted goal. Katelyn Graben made it 3-0, scoring off a pass from Andrea Harrison before Shelledy tallied her second score of the game, assisted by Ferguson. Betty Ann Casey got the Alumni on the board, scoring off a penalty kick. But, Jessica Davis quickly made it 5-1.
Following the match, the soccer team held a cookout for 70 people that included both squads, parents, alumni and friends of the program.
