Victor Hoffmann, an Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach at MSU, was hired in March 2023. Hoffmann directly oversees the daily strength and conditioning programs for the Bulldogs' soccer and golf programs. He also oversees the MSU strength and conditioning internship program for Olympic Sports.
Before coming to MSU, Hoffmann served as an Assistant Strength and Conditioning coach at Memphis from 2021-2023. At Memphis, he ran the strength and conditioning programs for multiple Olympic sports including women’s soccer, women’s golf, men’s tennis and cross country. Hoffmann spent 2019-2021 in Graduate Assistant and Fellowship roles at Memphis where he assisted in the development for all Olympic sport athletes. His four seasons with the Memphis women’s soccer program saw the Tiger’s achieve two consecutive AAC tournament championships, and three consecutive NCAA tournament appearances.
Prior to joining Memphis, Hoffmann served as a volunteer coach at Florida from 2018-2019. While with the Gators, he assisted primarily with the track and field, volleyball and swim and dive teams.
Hoffmann earned his bachelor’s degree in exercise science in 2018 from Louisville and his master’s degree in sports commerce from Memphis in 2021. He currently holds certifications with the National Strength and Conditioning Association (CSCS), USA Weightlifting Level 1 Coach and the National Academy of Sports Medicine (CES).
