- Title:
- Associate Head Soccer Coach
- Email:
Emma Webb was hired as an associate head soccer coach at Mississippi State on Jan. 9, 2026. She joined the Bulldogs from Lipscomb, where she previously served alongside head coach Kevin O’Brien for three years, winning conference titles while breaking or tying the program record for wins each season.
Webb began her tenure with the Bisons as an assistant before being promoted to associate head coach prior to the 2024 season. She was part of Lipscomb’s back-to-back ASUN Tournament Championships and NCAA Tournament berths in her final two seasons in Nashville.
In her first season with the Bisons, Webb helped coach the squad to the 2023 ASUN Regular Season Championship after going 10-0-1 in conference play. All 10 conference victories were shutouts. That squad boasted ASUN Player of the Year Kelli Beiler, ASUN Defensive Player of the Year Logan McFadden and ASUN Freshman of the Year Bella Carapazza. The team finished with a 14-5-1 overall record, setting a then-school record for wins.
In her second season with the Bisons, ASUN Player of the Year Kiara Pralle was named an All-American before signing a professional contract with the USL’s For Lauderdale United FC. Pralle finished the year ranked second nationally in goals per game (0.86) and seventh in points per game (1.91). Four more players earned All-ASUN honors. The Bisons reached the NCAA Tournament for the fourth time in program history before falling to No. 8-seed Vanderbilt.
In 2024, Lipscomb matched the school record with 14 wins and an ASUN Tournament title before breaking it with 15 wins, including the second NCAA Tournament victory in school history, in 2025. To close her tenure at Lipscomb, Webb saw Hailey Johnson crack the top 25 nationally in game-winning goals in 2025 while goalkeeper Kaïna Cesar led the ASUN with nine shutouts.
Prior to her arrival in Nashville, Webb spent four seasons (2019-22) as the head coach at Alliance University, improving the Warriors' program from a 10th-place conference finish to a third-place finish within a year. She was named the 2021 CACC Coach of the Year following a season in which her squad finished 4-3-1 with a trio of shutouts.
Before ascending to the head coach chair at Alliance, Webb served as the program's recruiting coordinator after spending three years coaching for Eastern Nazarene College, logging time on the coaching staffs of both the men's and women's soccer teams.
Webb competed collegiately for Houghton University where she spent four seasons with the Highlanders. Over her career, Webb helped the Highlanders to a 53-28-4 record, four post-season runs and a NCCAA National Championship in 2015.
Webb is a native of Houghton, New York.
